Shouting and protesting: how not to increase your earnings

Published: Wed, 07/26/17

I've just finished watching my friend Mark Thornton speak in a lecture hall about the minimum wage.

Last year, in one of my own talks, I cited a popular meme featuring a woman with a bullhorn, shouting demands at the fast-food restaurant she worked for. She'd worked there for eight years and hadn't gotten a raise. That, she said, is why she "fights for $15."

My thought: you've worked at an entry-level job for EIGHT YEARS without a raise?

Over the course of eight years she hasn't managed to find a single person willing to pay her a cent more?

You'd therefore think she'd appreciate the one place on earth willing to give her any cash at all, yet she thinks the way forward is by shouting through a bullhorn.

That's never right.

And with that mentality, she'll stay stuck forever.

Tons and tons of people have learned a skill online during their off hours -- yes, even people who are very busy and have lots of responsibilities. You prioritize things that matter to you.

Also far better than shouting through a bullhorn: affiliate marketing.

Todd Gross, the Boston weatherman-turned-affiliate-master, once earned an almost unbelievable $70K in a single day as an affiliate.

He breaks down exactly how he did it -- every single step he followed -- in one of the nine bonuses I've snagged for you when you pick up his extremely useful (and inexpensive) new video app, Video Builder, whose launch period ends in 48 hours.

Nine freaking bonuses, one of which is his $70K case study.
