Want to get good at something?
Observe the masters.
I often point to Michael Cheney. This guy is hugely successful as an affiliate. Every vendor under the sun wants him on board to sell their products.
Between selling his own stuff and earning affiliate
commissions, Cheney earns seven figures per year.
What are his secrets?
I'll give you a few:
(1) He's different. His emails are funny and engaging. You feel practically compelled to open them. They're
not just, "Hey, this new thing is 50% off!"
(2) He often makes videos -- simple ones, made on an iPhone -- when he's promoting a product. I've seen him playing with his children's toys to make a point. Nobody else does this. (I should be doing it!!) This flat-out generates more sales.
(3) There's always a deadline. If there's no deadline with the product itself -- e.g., the price is going
up, or it's being withdrawn by the vendor -- then Cheney creates his own scarcity: he'll offer a bonus that he withdraws after a certain date.
There are others.
But to do what Michael does, you have to be agile online, as he is. You have to be able to create pages quickly, for one
thing.
It sure doesn't hurt to have an artificially intelligent virtual assistant that makes pages for you, that you can direct with your voice. "Flexy, create a sales page!" Or whatever you need.
It doesn't hurt to be able to clone a page with one click.
Or to have your visitors greeted with a 3D avatar that speaks to them.
The creators of Flexy are offering it for a one-time fee, about what you'd pay for a steak dinner for two.
But 48 hours from now, it goes to a monthly fee.
