Two years ago I was looking at the income reports of a marketer named Pat Flynn, who
actually publishes an itemized list of all his earnings and expenses every month.
I discovered that he was earning anywhere from $20,000 to $40,000 (and sometimes even more) per month just from a single affiliate program (Bluehost).
What!?
But instead of sitting there and stewing -- "I hate that guy for being so
successful!" (which is how a lot of people react) -- I instead decided: if he can do that, surely I can do 10 or 20 percent of that.
And that's when I started promoting Bluehost.
But here's the key: in order to earn commissions, I make it irresistible to use my affiliate link.
And here's where I added ideas of my own. If you use my link, you not only get Bluehost's best price, but from me you get (1) 24 video tutorials on WordPress, (2) membership in my private bloggers group on Facebook, where you can get a lot of your questions answered, (3) a backlink to your site on my site, which (given how much Google likes my site) will help your search engine rankings, and (4) a mention on my show, which will get you a burst of targeted
traffic.
Who in his right mind wouldn't use my link with all those bonuses?
These days, that part of my income now runs nearly on autopilot. I spend a grand total of 20 minutes on it per month, and the commission notifications just keep coming.
Was it
easy?
It took work.
Was it worth it?
Duh.
Also worth it: writing a week's worth of posts and having them generate $25,818.74 -- a figure so ridiculous it sounds fake.
That's through a related
method.
