The other day someone told me he'd never heard the term I discussed with Bob Bly, the
great copywriter.
The term?
Copywriting.
A copywriter writes advertising copy: words that sell. A copywriter can write ads, or emails, or sales letters -- whatever.
McGraw-Hill calls Bob Bly "America's top copywriter." (That's why I hired him to write
my own sales letter.)
If you're looking for a lucrative skill to add to your arsenal, or even to make your full-time work, copywriting is excellent.
Bob discussed where to learn it, how to get clients, how to build up a portfolio of samples, and a lot more.
(We teach copywriting in the Ron Paul Curriculum because it's a lucrative skill, and no other school teaches it; I couldn't be happier to know that my kids will know it.)
We also discussed email list building, Internet marketing, and plenty of hows and whats.
I joked at the beginning that if this had been a one-on-one phone call, I would probably have owed Bob
$500 in consulting fees.
