[time sensitive] Stop calling me a genius -- it's hurting you

Published: Thu, 10/19/17

Everyone on the Contra Cruise this week has been saying one thing:

"Scott Horton is a genius."

Surely you've heard Scott on my show. No libertarian worth his salt doesn't love him. He knows everything there is to know about U.S. foreign policy, and can rattle off an amazing array of facts and analysis off the top of his head.

But here's what he told me last night:

"Man, I appreciate what everyone's saying, but I ain't no genius.

"I'm a skateboard dude who dropped out of community college.

"The whole point of my work is to show libertarians: if I can master this material, so can you.

"If everyone walks away thinking, 'Scott is a genius, and that's why he knows so much,' I've failed. They won't bother trying to learn what I want them to learn. They'll think only a 'genius' can do it.

"If I can do it, you can do it. That's my message."

I was really blown away like that.

Of course, the same goes for online business: of course Woods succeeds, because he has some special knack for it.

But as I've been telling you, total newbies are absolutely killing it in eCommerce. Regular people are making five and six figures in monthly sales, of products we'll show you how to find, and which you don't need to hold in inventory.

Tonight is the last workshop to show you how it's all done.

You don't have to be a genius. Just willing to give it a shot.

If I don't have you excited about this, I absolutely stink.
