Oh, I'm a clever one.
Earlier this year I opened an eCommerce store selling cat-related items. (I never have to touch or ship any of the items, or hold any inventory, because I use the kind of business model that eCommerce expert Fred Lam recommends.)
I found a great toy that cats love, and I came up with a pretty darn clever way to sell
it.
I used a video ad, showing a cat playing with the toy.
I then pitched that ad on Facebook specifically to people who belong to groups dedicated to cat videos. That meant that my ad, far from an intrusion, was to them just another cat video, which they love. They couldn't not watch
it.
That worked.
