The Jeff Sessions approach to the drug war, to federalism, to chronic pain (he
actually told sufferers to take some Tylenol and tough it out), is hideous and indefensible, and should be attacked at every opportunity.
Right now the left, as usual, is focusing its outrage on a matter of zero importance (not to mention stupid).
Sessions said sheriffs are carrying on the
"Anglo-American tradition" of law enforcement.
GASP! Why, that's "racist"!
Um, the very word "sheriff" comes from "shire reeve," an English tradition dating back a thousand years.
Common law,
likewise, has English origins.
It is evidently "racist" to point this out.
It all adds up to yet another reason to dwell on politics and the state less, and improving your life, and those of others, more.
The more we ignore crazy people, the better.
Block your ears so you can hear yourself think.
