For some people, Donald Trump's first State of the Union address was a
horror.
Campus Reform just published a video showing NYU students expressing outrage to a reporter about the speech. These students must be time travelers, though, because the speech isn't until tomorrow night.
The reporter asked: was the speech racist, perhaps even the most racist State of
the Union ever?
"Quite racist, at the very least," said one student, "if not up there with 'most racist.'"
Did you think the immigration proposal he laid out was racist?
"It's something that I wouldn't have expected to happen in our lifetime," said another.
Another: "It's offensive, it is crazy, but I'm not shocked by it."
And I'm not particularly shocked about people who comment about speeches they haven't heard. After all, as an author, I've had to deal with bad reviews from people who've never read a single page of one of my books.
As for the State of the Union, I have something better for you tomorrow (Tuesday) night.
