I'm recording my podcast in my hotel room in
New York this week, where I've brought two of my daughters to see some sights.
Elizabeth, my 8-year-old, was listening to what I was saying.
She heard me say that I spend hundreds of dollars a month maintaining my marketing email lists (on Mailchimp and Aweber).
She gasped!
I think it may be audible in the episode, but I decided to keep it in. What the heck, I thought.
But it's true: I do spend hundreds of dollars a month on that.
I spend 500 smackers a year on a landing-page service, another 120 on my membership platform, and plenty of other dough on plenty of other things.
Then, there's the fun of making all these things work together without a hitch. Isn't that your idea of fun?
