Yes, I'm still
awake.
Btw, a little story: in 1998, I could not sleep for the better part of a week. So I went into the Columbia health service and they prescribed me some tranquilizers. I could take up to four.
I wound up taking all four and...nothing.
Wide awake.
I
went back. They were shocked that I still hadn't slept. They gave me sedatives. I could take the four tranquilizers and up to two of the sedatives. This WILL get you to sleep, they said.
At this point I wondered: do I even remember how to sleep? How the heck did I used to do this? It was awful.
So I took the pills.
I got in bed.
I waited.
I said to myself, "I don't believe it! I still can't...."
And with that, I was out.
I've never forgotten it, though.
Anyway, as you can see, I'm
keeping insomniac hours again.
And listen.
It's now or never.
