While making breakfast the other day I was
listening to Eben Pagan's Wake Up Productive program.
He spoke about an "inner butterfly effect," whereby one distracting thought can make a whole day unproductive.
He then urged viewers not to be distracted by these butterflies.
Elizabeth, my 8-year-old, heard that part and asked: "Dad, do you get distracted by butterflies?"
Me: Sometimes, yes.
Elizabeth: Huh. Wow.
Me: Wait, just to be sure: he's not talking about actual
butterflies.
Elizabeth: [pause] Dang it.
If there's anything I'm obsessed with these days, it's personal productivity and time management. I have got to get the most out of my day that I possibly can.
And because I'm good at it, I get more done now than I did when I worked 10 hours a day.
Last week I picked up Time Management Hacks, and I plan to take action with it -- I can always learn more. If I can in effect an extra 30 minutes out of my day, I want it, and this program can give it to me.
What's great about it: you can learn from it yourself, but you also get the rights to resell it as your own, and keep all the profits. In minutes it can be adapted to any audience, because what audience doesn't need to learn to manage time better?
That just saved you a lot of pain.
You will laugh at the 3-minute video my daughter and I made on this, but I warn you: the squirrel is violent:
And here's Time Management Hacks itself (it jumps
up to $47 at midnight -- it's under $10 now -- so it's now or never):
