I always thought it was
stupid.
I now realize: here, right before our eyes, was the first of what later became known as anti-jokes.
So here, if you've never understood the joke, is the explanation.
When you're asked why the
chicken crossed the road, you're expecting some kind of chicken-specific answer. Why else would someone be asking you about a chicken? Why wouldn't they just ask why the person crossed the road?
And then the mundane answer "to get to the other side" hits you like a thunderbolt. There's no chicken-specific reason after all. Like all creatures, the poor guy just wants to get to the other side! Why
did we even need to bring species into this?
So the joke is there is no joke.
It's weirdly brilliant!
But although that chicken may have had no particularly special reason for crossing the road,
I have a darn special reason for writing to you.
Tonight's the webinar I've been badgering -- er, telling -- you about.
This fellow, who coaches me personally, has a "super funnel" I've copied for myself since February 2017. The results for me have been far in excess of anything I
expected.
You should see what 2018 technology, combined with some marketing knowledge, makes possible.
This is a world almost no one knows about, and they'd be shocked if they did.
And just for attending
and staying until the end, I'll be sending you those two bonuses I have lovingly put together for you. (Watch your inbox the next day.)
Why did the chicken click this link? To sign up for the webinar, of course:
