Last night we had a nice dinner at the home of Ron and Carol Paul, two American heroes.
My 16-year old daughter Veronica, who loves to sew and crochet, got to see the legendary Carol Paul sewing room. They must have been in there together for at least 20 minutes.
When Veronica emerged, I asked her how it was. She replied solemnly, "It was so beautiful that I wept."
Then today we had the public event in Angleton, Texas. My topic was "Lessons from the Ron Paul Revolution." I spent some time talking about "Isaiah's Job," an essay by Albert Jay Nock that Dr. Paul has mentioned numerous times.
After Dr. Paul gave his own talk and received his standing ovation, he stepped off the stage and walked directly over to me -- so he could tell me that he had been planning to give his own speech about that Nock essay until he heard mine just before his. He added that I shouldn't worry -- everything worked out all right anyway!
In terms of reach, principle, consistency, all of it, he truly is the greatest of all time. The GOAT, as the kids say these days.
Well, I've got a bunch of other GOATs to introduce to you.
