For years and years, people have asked me: where do I start? I'm convinced I
should have a business, but what do I do?
I love that question, because it means the person is an action taker, of whom there are so few in this world (even, I regret to say, in the libertarian world).
So I have a word for my beginners.
Last night's live session with Ryan I think made a pretty good case for the "quiz funnel" approach to generating leads and sales in a business.
Because of their very nature, they get you fast results (they're in real time; they're not an eBook someone might download and never read), they get audiences of good size because of their viral character (people compare their scores, discuss the quiz, share it with others), and they prime people for your solution to their problem.
Now I know I have a lot of beginners on this list. What if you have no business at all?
Here are three paths to an instant business via quiz funnels:
(1) A prelaunch quiz.
Ryan gave the example of a couple in the Christian singles market. They had no product at all. They built a quiz funnel for a membership they might create someday. Because quiz funnels often go viral, within a week they'd had a million responses.
So when they did launch that site, they were able to launch it with a bang.
(2) Promote someone else's products.
You don't need your own product.
I am constantly promoting the products of others. They are easy to find at places like ShareASale, Clickbank, FlexOffers, etc. And then design a quiz funnel that takes people to the best product for them. Another instant business.
(3) Design quiz funnels for clients.
Learn all about quiz funnels and then design them for businesses for a fee.
For those of you without a business, Ryan will teach you all three of these strategies.
For those of you with a business, Ryan will show you how you can get his team to design your quiz funnel for you, once you give them the information they need about your business.
He's doing a live session this afternoon (Eastern time) that you should check out. Even if it's just in the background while you're working.
Dozens of examples and templates, different kinds of quizzes, how to know your quiz will succeed before releasing it, all kinds of stuff you need.
If you were to ask me for tips on making your business more prosperous, or how to start one with a bang, this is where I would send you. So cut out the middleman and just go.
