You know what one of the hardest things to sell is?
Books.
My publisher told me that years ago.
The competition is intense. Nearly 200,000 new titles are published every year, and you somehow have to stand out.
Even if you're never planning to write a book, I want you to learn from this example:
Ryan Levesque published a book called Choose. How did he make it stand out?
He devised a quiz funnel: what kind of business should you start?
These "quiz funnels" work because people enjoy taking them. They share them with others. They share their results in the comments on social media sites. The quizzes take on a life of their own.
Ryan got 71% of visitors to opt in to his quiz -- unheard of, if you know about these things. He got 150,000 optins. And at the end he made 34,000 book sales, just from this quiz.
Now what is that kind of email list worth?
Two months ago Ryan promoted, as an affiliate, a training/coaching combo for people interested in starting a particular kind of business. He pitched it to the people who had opted in for his quiz.
After a two-week promo, he had brought in $219,000 in commissions. Oh, and that meant he was the top seller, which meant he won an additional $100,000 prize.
See what I mean about the value of an email list?
And a quiz funnel is a great way to build one.
The Proactiv acne medication company, one of Ryan's clients, uses a quiz funnel to determine the visitor's skin type.
Neil Gordon went from driving for Lyft to generating a mind-boggling $100K per month via a quiz that identifies the visitor's public speaking type or style.
A "What's Your Parenting Style?" quiz generated 1,000,000 takers in 10 days, because of how viral these can be.
But you don't need 1,000,000 responses. Dawn Terwilliger ran a fitness quiz that 61 people took in the first week. Of those, one reached out and said he had learned so much about himself that he wanted to work with her. He became a $10,000 client.
This weekend Ryan's Quiz Funnel Masterclass, in which you learn everything you need to know, and his people design your quiz for you, closes its doors and begins taking care of members.
If you decide to join, I'll help you:
I'll give you a full-court-press campaign to promote your quiz via my newsletter, podcast, and social media outlets (gee, think that might help a little?).
I'll also give you the Tom Woods Email Domination Program -- once you have all those people signed up you'll want to know what to do with them. In this program I explain everything you need to know, in easy, over-the-shoulder videos.
Just write to me at this address with your receipt.
We're one step closer to the Woods audience dominating the world.
But this weekend is it.
