Here's some advice for you:
Try not to arrive in a foreign city in the midst of a garbageman strike.
We did that here in Edinburgh. As our taxi made its way to our
hotel and the filth was everywhere, I actually speculated that the garbage collectors must be on strike. Turns out I was right.
Timing is everything, though sometimes (as in the present case) it's out of your hands. When you do a search for when the best time to visit Edinburgh is, you get all kinds of answers. But for other places, there are certainly times to be
preferred.
I'm hoping to visit Iceland before too long, for instance, but I'll want to be there when I have the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights.
If you want to visit central Florida, where I live, I would recommend November
through March, because only then can you be guaranteed that the weather won't be oppressive.
This week I'm talking about timing when it comes to your side hustle.
I know people who absolutely clean up because they go very hard during
particular seasons or on certain holidays. That's when people are looking for gifts and seasonal/holiday items, and their wallets are out.
"Low-content printables" -- things like journals, planners, calendars, etc. -- are a perfect way to capitalize on those wallets, and because they're "low content" they involve very little writing.
In fact, if you have some nice templates and some coaching on how to market what you make, the low-content printable market can be a very nice side hustle for a beginner.
The undisputed master in this area is Amy Harrop, whom I've known since 2016. Her templates and
training are running at a discount during her launch period, but that's about to come to an end.
