This year I met someone very important through the Tom Woods Show.
Kevin Dolan lost his corporate job when it was discovered that his Twitter feed was to the right of Mitt Romney's. He decided to help others who for whatever reason either lost or desperately wanted out of a soul-crushing corporate job.
Maybe they hate the work itself, or the long hours, or the woke politics. Whatever the reason, a lot of our people want out, but they don't know where to go.
The point of Kevin's group is to assist in their transition and help ensure that such people land on their feet and wind up more fulfilled than before.
I was so impressed that I called Kevin and said:
I want your group to merge with my School of Life. I want to offer this service for my people, and I want you in charge.
We ended up deciding against an outright merger. But I did add this feature -- and Kevin himself -- to my program.
If anything, we expanded on it. The small groups in my School of Life aren't just for people transitioning out of corporate jobs, although we certainly have some people who are doing that.
They're for anyone with a business, or even anyone just at the idea stage.
They're groups of 8-12 people that meet every week. Each person updates the group on how the business or would-be business is going, what challenges the business is facing, etc. Then the other members ask questions, offer advice, and help make connections.
(My group facilitators, meanwhile, have a weekly meeting among themselves and discuss the victories and challenges people are having, and identify people in different groups who would benefit from being connected with each other.)
Then each person names one specific task he intends to accomplish by the next meeting. And I can tell you: being accountable to people like this will help you reach your goals faster.
I joined one of these groups myself, and you'd better believe I finished my next eBook (which I'll be releasing the week of August 8) much faster than I would have otherwise.
And four times a year you get a 30-minute 1-on-1 meeting with your group facilitator (who is a business expert). That normally costs someone a fortune.
Join one of these groups, and you WILL make progress. You WILL get ideas. You'll have a bunch of people cheering you on and helping you overcome obstacles. You won't have to go it alone anymore.
It's not melodrama to say: the world is against us. It's up to us to help each other.
And incidentally, these groups, life-changing as they are, are but one benefit of my School of Life.
But this one benefit is worth the whole program, and then some.
Tired of struggling, or not knowing what to do, or just needing a push and not knowing where to get it?
This is for you.
Or doing well, but want to take things to the next level?
This is also for you.
The doors to my School of Life just reopened, but they swing shut once that countdown timer on the site hits zero.
