Two most unfortunate things happened yesterday.
(1) I turned 50.
(2) The Steely Dan concert I had tickets for was canceled.
Item (1) is a bit more consequential.
There's something about hitting this kind of milestone that can make you a little philosophical.
Chances are, I have more yesterdays than I have tomorrows.
So the question is: do I want my headstone to read: "He released more podcast episodes than most other people did"?
I plan to keep on producing those episodes.
But:
Last year when I managed to get two hours with Jay Abraham (full-day consulting fee: $120,000), one of the world's most sought-after business consultants, he flat-out told me what I should be doing with my life.
This, he said, is by far the best way you can serve your people.
And he was right.
Our side is all talk, no action.
Their side is talk ("you'll own nothing and be happy") AND action (here, let me take this stuff away from you).
If we don't build something for ourselves -- especially in business -- then we're sitting ducks for these people.
There is no globe-spanning libertarian community in the world that has people of the caliber that you'll find in mind. And we WILL get you to where you want to be.
But the timer is merciless, so click and see (if you clicked yesterday, there's a surprise there today):
