Some of you may know this already, but for those of you who don't:
In high school I was the captain of the math team.
You can just imagine how popular that made me with the ladies.
I enjoyed it, though, because I'm a competitive sort, and I was just good at math. It came naturally. I generally didn't even need or want the teacher to explain it to me. I wanted to read and absorb the book's explanation on my own.
To say that's not how most people learn is rather an understatement.
Now on this list I've helped people learn about starting and scaling businesses.
And everyone learns differently.
Some people learn best via the 70-module video course.
Others look at those 70 modules and are ready to faint.
Still others want to read books. Or others need 1-on-1 coaching (which can be extremely expensive).
Yet what I'm seeing with my own eyes is this: an awful lot of people will make progress when they're part of a group that's encouraging them and cheering them on, and when that whole group is all aiming at the same goal together.
Then, when you're tempted to fall back into inactivity, or not to make forward progress, you'll say: I don't want to let the group down. I'm going to do this.
Folks, this is working RIGHT NOW, inside the small-group section of my School of Life.
Instead of complaining about the world, or woe-is-me-ing ourselves about our situations, we are making changes, bit by bit, together.
If other approaches have failed, try working with a group of decent folks who share your values and want nothing more than to see you succeed.
That's something you should be a part of.
We're closing the doors tomorrow, though, so get in here:
