Yesterday I was all set to write to you, and when I tested the link I discovered to my horror: the replay had been taken down.

There must have been a miscommunication somewhere. I wrote to Matt and we got it resolved -- he has agreed to put it back up for two more days -- but that's why I was unable to write to you yesterday.

(That, and I'm out of Frankenstein films to talk about.)

Anyway, since time is short, let's get right to it:

If you want a business because you want the financial security, and a specifically online business for the location freedom, but you have nothing to sell and no idea where to begin, then affiliate marketing makes the most sense.

You don't need to create anything. Companies that already have products pay you whenever someone clicks your links and orders their stuff. Not brain surgery, and perfect if you have nothing of your own to sell.

This is a major part of how I put food on the table for all the little Woods people.

Now being an accomplished mind reader, I know what you're thinking: "I don't have a following, so this can't work for me."

Yes, it can.

First, there are many ways to run successful affiliate campaigns that don't involve people even knowing who you are.

Second, if you're the kind who would like to build a following, remember this: nobody came out of the womb with a following. Everyone you see who has one was at one time in precisely the position you are in now.

Second thing you may be thinking: "I don't have time."

Yet you're still getting my emails, so that angel representing your better nature hasn't abandoned you. There's no right or wrong amount of time to spend learning how to be a successful affiliate. But there is a right time to start.
