This year, on February 1, I had the best day of my life career-wise.
That day I launched a new program that started off modestly and has blossomed into something massive, that is doing a lot of good for thousands of people. I am extremely proud of
it.
Here's an important fact, which I cannot emphasize enough:
I spent just as much time and effort on how to launch this product as I did in creating it.
Lots of people loved the unorthodox way I launched it. A few miserable people hated it. Either way, people were talking about it, and either way, everyone was waiting to find out what it was. So it worked.
Oh, did it ever work.
By far the biggest mistake I see people make is in thinking that if they have something great to offer, that's all they need. People will naturally perceive its greatness and be drawn to it.
That would be nice, wouldn't it?
Unfortunately, it ain't so.
Everyone overlooks this crucial point, and then when they invariably bomb, they wind up so demoralized that they just throw in the towel, figure they're not cut out for this, and go begging for their soul-crushing corporate job
back.
I do not want this to happen to you, good and loyal reader.
It is not enough for you to come up with something nice -- a book, a product of some kind, a service, whatever. Just as important is: how do you plan to
unveil it to the world? This is what's missing in almost everyone's strategy.
Here's the good news: we know how to do it in a way that maximizes your chances of hitting a home run.
Here's the bad news: people do not
emerge from the womb with this knowledge. You have to take the time to acquire it.
So it boils down to: how badly do you want this? Are you willing to make the effort to learn?
Luckily, we are about to begin Jeff
Walker's once-a-year-and-that's-it masterclass on launches.
What he's doing for several days, beginning on Friday, won't cost you anything. But it will put you way ahead of these poor souls who don't have this knowledge.
Let's have a great big Woods cohort there.
Most people are going to try to succeed in a crowded Internet without this training. Good luck with that!
