The old man has had some turkeys.
I remember a particular book launch or two where I was convinced I had a winner on my hands -- and then, not so much.
Immediately your
mind starts racing: what should I have done differently? Did the book stink? Was it the wrong topic? Did I launch it the wrong way?
Trust me, you do not want to go down a spiral like that. It's not fun.
So launch what you have in the
most effective way possible, so as to minimize these existential crises.
Along those lines, Jeff Walker held another live session yesterday, this one on the three kinds of launches. One of them is right for you.
The first is for people
who don't yet have a product/service or a mailing list. Using this method you can actually get paid before your product or service is even available.
The second is the internal launch, for people who already have mailing lists to which they can send offers.
The third kind is the JV launch, the most advanced (but also the most lucrative) kind, in which you harness the value of other people's lists. Other people promote your product/service to their own audiences in exchange for a portion of the loot.
That's information you'll probably want to have.
You'll notice at the link that Jeff is doing one final presentation today at 4pm Eastern on the rather important topic of how to make the sale.
As I've said, Walker shares this information only once a year, and it can be the difference between a disaster and a smash
hit.
