One of the ways I made 2022 my best year ever was my following the dictum: work smarter, not harder.
Nothing wrong with hard work, but there's more to being successful than elbow grease.
I think a lot of us, myself included, have somehow imbibed the idea that generating more income is always in close proportion to exerting more labor. But that's not true.
Many of you reading this right now could, for example, 2x or 5x your income by taking your current product or service and simply converting it into a membership. That one
change could be an example of a relatively low-cost, labor-light modification leading to more (and more consistent) sales.
For that matter, I think one reason a lot of successful musicians are on the left is that they feel guilty about their earnings. They don't have to work all that hard, compared to ordinary people, and they have more dough than they know what to
do with.
You and I are not adherents of the labor theory of value, so we need to get this confusion out of our heads.
Creating and selling low-content products is a business model that many people do very well with even though there is
less "labor" involved than in many other kinds of businesses.
One of the easiest (and most fun) digital products to create involves art from the public domain. Amy Harrop is an expert on creating products like this, and she's just released a guide on how to do it.
With popular public domain art, you’re not limited to just a few marketplaces or products.
Art is very much in demand, and can be found on more than customers’ walls. You can also use public domain art images -- and add your own unique spin -- to sell things like:
T-shirts
Mugs
Shower Curtains
Phone Covers
Journals
Mousepads
And plenty of other things, too.
I will take a guess, though, that you may not know how to do this.
Hence Amy Harrop's new step-by-step training.
Never once in the seven years I've known Amy have I heard a single
complaint about her or her trainings in the printables area. Not once. Amy is the authority on this.
It's a fun little business that requires little to no outlay of cash, and which will teach you how to use the various online marketplaces -- a skill you won't ever regret having, or teaching to your children, whom we all want to be entrepreneurial.
