Marjorie Taylor Greene is in trouble again for advocating "national divorce."
She's been lectured by -- of all people -- Liz Cheney, and on social media this morning I encountered someone demanding she be impeached for suggesting that peaceful separation was an option (an attitude that would have
led to the impeachment of Thomas Jefferson).
I think it's great that she's inserted the idea into our otherwise dreary and predictable "national discourse."
Then she loses me by looking forward to having red states ensure that kids
stand for the Pledge of Allegiance -- which was not only written by a socialist, but also (preposterously) declares the Union to be "indivisible."
So there's a little confusion in Rep. Greene's head.
But it is still a very good thing to
get people thinking unconventionally. Our normal "national discourse" is an intellectual prison, and we're long overdue for a jailbreak.
At this stage of American civilization, I'd say it's a good idea to think unconventionally in pretty much every area of life: education, health, energy, parenting, and -- of course -- how we make a living.
If you missed yesterday's presentation on Amazon selling (thankfully you do not need your own products, since 99.9999% of mankind doesn't have any), I strongly recommend giving it a watch. I've linked to it here:
