It's the beginning of the new year, so it's time for bad comedians to start making fun of people who, motivated by a New Year's resolution, are going to the gym for the first time.

I for one am glad people are going to the gym, and I hope they stick with it.

Why make fun of these people? It's stupid and nasty.

Any ambitious person makes resolutions, whether on January 1 or otherwise.

I am hopeful that every last reader of these emails will resolve to get moving on their online business idea -- or strive to come up with that idea -- this year.
