I don't think I'd want to be a professor in this day and age, what with the pronouns, the intolerance of dissident opinions, and all the rest of it.
But I genuinely enjoyed my seven years as an academic, because I like teaching.
I'm really proud of the courses I created for the Ron Paul Curriculum, too, which I put together after leaving formal teaching. Anyone taking those courses will come out the other side extremely knowledgeable.
One of my older daughters is studying entrepreneurship in a formal setting, so I was
invited in to explain the principles behind how I make my living. Nobody in that room had ever heard of what I was talking about, but by the end they were intrigued, and that was my goal.
So these days I've been teaching things like that more and more.
A few years ago I created a course on how to build and monetize an email list. I didn't have to do that. I didn't need the money to keep the household going or anything. I just enjoy teaching -- especially things that can make immediate improvements in someone's life.
Well, a whole bunch of people just like me have put together a docuseries
in which one person with experience in each of many different possible side hustles explains in detail how to do it.
Chances are, you'll find one that appeals to you.
Take action on it, and you will have distinguished yourself from 99
percent of America, sadly.
