As a college freshman, I was given two options for a part-time job: work in the dining hall, or clean
bathrooms.
The bathroom cleaning paid slightly more, so I went with that.
It didn't take long to figure
out why it paid more.
Yikes.
I had a master key to all the rooms in Dunster House, so I could get in and
clean bathrooms even if people weren't home.
I always hoped they wouldn't be -- if there was anything more uncomfortable than cleaning a disgusting bathroom, it was doing it with the resident sitting ten feet away.
I took this awful job before pretty much anyone even knew what a web browser was.
Had the online world existed I wouldn't even have considered the bathroom job. Even though nobody knew who I
was in 1990, that wouldn't have stopped me from researching some niches and generating traffic to some offers. In no time I would have been seeing 10-15 times the monetary reward that I would have been earning from the bathrooms.
Kevin Fahey, one of a handful of people I go to when I'm stumped, just released his training on how he does
precisely this, and without having to spend a dime on traffic.
