We all learned something yesterday.
If there's one action you want visitors to take, give them one option only. Don't let them get distracted.
Don't send them to your
website with its banners and About page and blog posts, etc.
You need a simple landing page -- and if you're really intending to create an online presence and/or build an email list, you'll need a bunch.
You do not want to spend $500 on
each one.
So use Leadpages.
I created these two with Leadpages:
https://www.tomwoods.com/schoolevent
https://www.nationaldivorce.com
You joined this very email list via a
Leadpages-created page like that.
Oh, and if people look for a page on my site that doesn't exist (maybe because of a typo on their part), I take even that opportunity to use a Leadpage to grab their email address:
https://tomwoods.lpages.co/tomwoods-com-404-page/
Admit it: that's a boss move.
You can create these little sites for almost any reason: giving out a coupon, selling a product, promoting an event, counting
down to a launch, whatever.
I have over 100 of them.
You don't have to pay for hosting, you don't have to pay a designer (I just use their templates, and even then I often cut out any bells and whistles), and you don't have to wait. In
minutes you can have a page ready for the public.
Other than an email autoresponder service, something like Leadpages is the single most important thing you'll need.
Get it by tonight (and remember, at the link below you can try it for
free for 14 days) and as a bonus I'll throw in a step-by-step video showing you how I create one of these pages, so your learning curve will be practically nothing.
Just forward your receipt to bonuses@tomwoods.com.

my bonus expires tonight):
