Yesterday I revealed a secret: I hired an expert to write the sales copy for Liberty Classroom.
There is nothing wrong with that, and there is no shame in it. It's a simple matter of the division of labor. Creating something and writing the sales copy for it are two different things, and are rarely
carried out by the same person. I usually write my own content, but I happen to enjoy doing it.
It cost me in the thousands of dollars to have that guy do that for me, but it was worth it.
The great equalizer (but only if you know what
you're doing) can be ChatGPT, because it too can write a sales page, or blog posts, or social media posts, or emails, or whatever content you need -- and it's a tool for people who don't happen to have a zillion dollars lying around.
Here's the catch: the guy who wrote that sales copy for me wrote it in my voice. That's what I wanted.
ChatGPT, on the other hand, writes like a robot. You do not write like a robot, so that is not your voice.
But you can show it how to write like you, just like my professional copywriter learned to write like me.
And this can help you whether you're writing sales pages (like me) or content of a completely different kind.
Tomorrow Amy Yamada and I are going to show you how to do that in a fun interactive event in which we'll do exercises together and show you how truly easy it
is.
