I don't remember what year it was, but I decided I had to pull the plug.
I ran a private group inside Facebook for all those good people who support the Tom Woods Show. I call it (somewhat tongue-in-cheek) The Tom Woods Show Elite.
We finally had to leave.
Uncontroversial posts were being taken down with no real explanation. It became impossible to communicate.
We moved the group somewhere else, but for archival purposes I kept it up on Facebook (just with no new posts). We had some
great threads there and it would have been a shame to delete them all.
And yet even after years of no new posts, I would still get the occasional notice from Facebook that it had just removed another post. It was absolutely bizarre.
So
I wouldn't want to try to build a community there -- and yet having a community is the lifeblood of many an online business.
And I haven't even mentioned the obscure (and dreaded) Facebook algorithm, which determines who will see your posts.
By contrast, tomorrow I'll be hosting a discussion of how to be Zuckerberg-free when building an online business.
Not to mention: no cold calls, no DMs, no complicated sales funnels, no endless days of creating free content.
And no Zuckerberg to quash your reach and monitor your every word.
Let's prosper in spite of the Big Tech creeps.
Reserve your spot, and let's show you how:
