I'm trying some new
things for my 13th book, which comes out very soon.
I'm always studying new ways to get my message out there. I saw the way Matt McWilliams promoted his book, and I decided I wanted the same kind of thing for myself. So I hired him to set up my book website and some secret goodies connected to it.
I have a good feeling about how it's going to turn out. There's always a chance it could be a flop. Either way, once enough months have passed I'll make a video -- highlighting either what went right or what went wrong -- showing what I learned from it all.
One new thing I'm trying involves
assembling a "street team" -- that is, a group of people who believe in my message and who will be happy to help me spread the word about it and write me a review.
Matt suggested that I offer a special bonus or entry in some kind of giveaway as a thank-you to those who help, so I'm entering street-team people into a drawing for signed copies of the book, a free
annual membership at one of my sites, or an all-expenses paid trip to Orlando.

Now here's my point for today: that page you just clicked on was created by me. It took me 10 minutes.
For the event I held earlier this year I created this page, using the same service:

The point is not that these are the world's most gorgeous websites. The point is that a design dope like me created them in minutes, and that I didn't have to pay five hundred bucks for each one and wait a week or two to get it.
I created them using Leadpages. As a subscriber I can create as many of them as I like and not have to pay a dime extra.
When Bob Murphy and I were getting ready to launch the Contra Krugman podcast in 2015, we wanted to build some buzz. So I used
Leadpages to create a site with a timer counting down until our first episode, and with an opportunity for people to sign up to be notified when we launched -- and I thereby built my email list further, too.
That took me probably ten minutes to do, and the site was ready to go instantaneously.
As you know, when I want to build my email list I create an eBook or a video to give away in exchange for visitors' email addresses. I create these microsites with Leadpages. I've settled into this general template, which will be familiar to many of you: https://www.NationalDivorce.com
I'm about to release a signup page for the Christmas party I'm holding on December 9, featuring Scott Horton. That page, too, will be created on Leadpages.
You can even sell things via a Leadpages-created page.
Think of all the things you could do if at a moment's notice you could publish a call-to-action site like these.
A landing page builder like Leadpages is a non-negotiable part of any online business. I could not live without it.
Now I could load up a bunch of bonuses to go along with it, but most of us never get to those bonuses.
Instead, during this promo I'm going to offer you the one bonus you actually need: a short video training by Woods himself on exactly how to use it. I'll set up a page from
scratch before your eyes. That cuts your learning curve down to virtually zero.
Just forward your receipt to bonuses@tomwoods.com and that bonus is yours.
Leadpages makes me a fortune, it's true, but it also makes me limber -- I can react instantly and have a site up on anything I want in just minutes. You won't ever regret having that magical power.
