During the first of two weeks in Honolulu with the five daughters (we'll be home on Saturday), we did something that we haven't disclosed yet to pretty much anyone.
We spent an hour at the Hawaii Cat Cafe here in town. Amy, who is the middle of the five daughters, fell in love with a kitten named
Biscuits.
You can probably see where this is going.
Amy is our least demanding child by far. I once discovered that she had ordered bedding for herself through Amazon. I patiently explained that bedding is included in the Woods
childhood experience.
So when it was obvious that she had grown attached to this little kitten, I made arrangements in the background to adopt Biscuits.
So we now have my wife and me, the five daughters, two cats, and a
rabbit.
Now if you had asked me whether I planned to return from Hawaii with another cat, I wouldn't have considered the question worth answering, so unlikely was such a thing.
What has this got to do with business?
I would guess that like me you're reasonably risk averse, and you'd prefer to deal in things that are regular and predictable. Something like the opposite of Tom Woods adopting a cat in Hawaii and flying it back to Florida.
Hence the fun little
business of seasonal printables. You may not be able to predict the wild outcomes of a Woods family vacation, but you can be sure people will buy Mother's Day things on Mother's Day and Halloween things on Halloween.
It's a simple and fun kind of business you can do with one of your kids if you like, and one that lots and lots of people make a killing with on Etsy
(as I'm sure many of you have already seen for yourselves).
It's so happens that I temporarily have a coupon code for a training on exactly this kind of business. SEASONS10 will get you $10 off Amy Harrop's thorough new program.
Thankfully, no design skills whatsoever are necessary.
Also, pick up her program and forward your receipt to bonuses@tomwoods.com, and I'll send you my strategy guide with 12 different ways to earn recurring income, with 5,000 words devoted to each.
