There are plenty of good things about Florida, I admit. And there's no state I would rather have lived in since 2020.
But the heat! Good grief, the heat.
It's really
beautiful here from about November through mid-March. The rest of the year, at least in central Florida where I live, it's intolerable.
You can find relief at the beach, it's true, and that's one of the things that sees me through. I like Melbourne Beach because there are good waves, and nobody is ever there, especially on weekdays. It's as if the people of
Melbourne don't know they have a beach in town. It's weird. But I bring my computer, get work done, and jump in the water when I get too hot.
Maybe I'm talking myself into liking Florida, now that I think of it.
Anyway:
Summer in Florida may be eight to nine months long, but we still sort of have seasons. And these seasons, if you're savvy, bring with them their own special opportunities.
For instance, I've been talking about "low-content printables" -- journals,
checklists, calendars, etc. -- that do especially well around various holidays.
But that doesn't mean you have only half a dozen or so chances per year to generate income; Amy has come up with seasonal opportunities lasting a whole year (including things like spring cleaning, back to school, summer vacations, etc.), and not just individual days like Mother's Day or
Valentine's Day.
In addition to how easy low-content printables are to produce -- far easier than writing a book, for example -- they can be repurposed quickly, and become another product entirely. A journaling template that you use for New Year's resolutions, for example, can be repackaged in minutes to become a gratitude journal at Thanksgiving.
Amy Harrop's helpful training on seasonal printables, helpful for anyone from newbies to established creators, leaves nothing out.
Remember the two goodies I'm throwing in if you take the plunge:
(1) Take $10 off with code SEASONS10;
(2) Pick it up by midnight tonight and get my bonus: 12 strategies for generating recurring revenue. I devote 5000 words to each one, so this is a substantial bonus. Forward your receipt to bonuses@tomwoods.com to get it.
But after midnight, no more bonus, and that's sad. Don't be sad. Seasonal things will make you happy, as will my bonus, so click away before those twelve dings sound:
