You may have heard talk about the semi-imminent return of masking, including on planes (although I don't know how they'll get around that federal court ruling), as well as additional restrictions of various kinds, beginning in October.

From what I can see, these claims can be traced back to an Alex Jones interview with what was described as a TSA whistleblower who says workers there were briefed on the coming changes.

I am far from infallible, but my gut tells me that October will come and go without any change.

I realize that in deciding whether to bring back masks the question of whether they actually work or not doesn't really matter, since they kept being mandated and people kept wearing them despite their repeatedly demonstrated uselessness. The Cochrane study was merely the final nail in the coffin. Demographically identical populations with different mask policies consistently produced the same results, which strongly suggests that masks don't do anything.

I doubt a reasonable person could read my forthcoming book, Diary of a Psychosis: How Public Health Disgraced Itself During COVID Mania, and draw any other conclusion.
