Last night we'd just
returned to our hotel here in Las Vegas but would need to leave again in an hour.
So I asked the valet guy: if you know someone is leaving soon, do you park that car in a more accessible place? I wondered if there was a system behind it.
He replied, flat out: "If you give me $10-$20 I'll leave it parked right here just outside the door for you and you can drive off immediately when you're ready."
I appreciated his bluntness and gladly handed him the $20.
Well, now it's my turn to be blunt.
I've been reading Zig Ziglar lately, and he's famous for (among other things) his remark that you can have everything in life you want if you help enough people get what they want.
To be honest, I already have everything in life I want. Sure, I'd be happy if someone gave
me a yacht, but I don't strictly need that.
But yes, I can help you get what you want.
You've been living in a world that hates our guts for so long that you've gotten weirdly used to it. It almost seems like the normal state of
things.
But there's nothing normal about it, and it's a challenge to build the life you want when the political class is making everything more costly, colonizing your children's minds (even when they're not in school), and threatening you to keep your mouth shut about important things.
My School of Life is a community of smart and ambitious people who are helping each other not merely survive but actually thrive in these crazy circumstances.
Month after month we learn new things to help us prosper in the face of seemingly endless obstacles.
And our small groups keep people on track who are trying to make much-needed changes: for their health, in their businesses, for people starting businesses, for people trying to write books or improve their relationships with their teens or get started with homeschooling when it seems impossible -- anything you can think of.
Nobody in the libertarian or conservative world who hears about my School of Life thinks: nah, we don't need something like that.
Instead, they all think: why did it take so long for someone to build something like this?
I don't know the answer to that question. What I do know is: it's here now, and it's the best decision you've ever made:
