I have a good friend. You have almost surely heard
of him.
We have encouraged and helped each other during discouraging moments in our lives.
Right now things are going pretty well for us both, so it's an opportune moment to look back and realize where we once were.
At one point this friend called me and ran through scenarios involving what he would do if he ever
became homeless. That's how over-the-top worried he was about his situation.
Today this very person is on top of the world.
In the case of this friend, he did it all himself. While discouragement can make some people shut down, it made him work all the harder.
In my own case, the big shifts in my life, financial and
otherwise, have generally involved someone coming into my life and getting the ball rolling for me.
This month I've given the example of Jay Abraham, by far one of the greatest living business minds. He gave me ideas that changed my life so much for the better that I will forever be in his debt.
Now it's true: I had to take action myself and implement the ideas. Nobody can do
that for me. But he gave me the push that changed everything.
Tomorrow is the encore of his presentation, and then that's it.
