Ol' Woods here used to be a professor, but the kind of professor who both (a) told you the truth and (b) didn't put you to sleep.
And who always had a Simpsons reference at the ready to reinforce any point.
I hope I'm still that kind of person today.
But:
Here's a MAJOR difference.
Remember The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History, in 2004 (good grief, that's 20 years ago now!). I didn't come up with that idea. A publisher came TO ME and proposed that I write it.
My big breakout accomplishment, and it was
someone else's initiative.
That was how it was for me in those days.
I'd get an offer to write an article for $X or come give a speech for $Y.
It was a nice living. I have very fond memories of those years. But life was something that happened to me. I waited, and nice enough things eventually happened.
But this is no way for a grown man to run his life.
A grown man directs his life.
A grown man takes hold of his own destiny and makes things happen.
The people who joined my mastermind last year were doing exactly that. Instead of waiting for nice things to come
along, they decided to MAKE THEM HAPPEN by getting themselves into a group of smart and ambitious people.
We just had a husband-and-wife team join our ranks the other day, and within a few hours of joining -- before we'd even had a chance to have an in-person meeting -- a lucrative partnership was already being proposed.
I don't intend to debate people into joining the
mastermind. The right person will already know who he is: he runs a good business (although one of our members still works in corporate) but he yearns for that next level -- for his own sake, and for his family. He just needs some help to get there.
Several of our members just shared their experiences, and I think you should hear them:
