Last night I was texting with Paul Counts, the
director of my mastermind programs, and he was aghast at schools encouraging the use of AI when kids barely knew spelling or grammar.
AI has its place, but that ain't it.
From our message thread, here's Paul:
"My brother’s kid is in 4th grade in Oregon and cannot spell her way out of a paper bag or use proper
grammar (his words). My brother asked the teacher why she is not marking errors as wrong or correcting them, and she said that in the state of Oregon, because of AI, spelling and grammar were no longer pushed at these levels as important!
"Maddening! We are raising students who will be illiterate and unable to think independently."
So he told me that the Ron Paul Curriculum,
whose marketing he does, is going to run a campaign emphasizing that Dr. Paul's program produces students who can think for themselves, as opposed to the drones being churned out at your local little red schoolhouse.
Well, tomorrow Paul and I are running a free workshop called "Five Simple Ways to Grow Your Business." If you saw his live Q&A last month you remember how knowledgeable he is, so this isn't to be missed.
