I just hosted (for someone else's podcast) yet
another anarchism/minarchism debate.
The debaters were so pleasant and civil that at the end I joked, "This was the easiest job I've ever had -- and also the lowest paid."
(I was of course very happy to do it as a favor.)
Now trust me, I love debates, I love geekery, all of it.
But man cannot live on theoretical debate alone.
I would much rather that people carve out good and prosperous and free lives for themselves than that they know all the details of how Objectivism's views of government differ from anarcho-capitalism.
So this weekend (or today) we are going to watch the recording of Adam Schneider -- who
knows these issues AND built a great business and life for himself -- showing us the basics of print on demand, which isn't some weird novelty but a tried-and-true staple of online business, something either you or your ambitious teenager could do.
It comes down on Monday, though, so carve out a little time this weekend and check it out (it isn't long, particularly the section before the Q&A period, which is also good):
