I know a man who went from being tech guy to Tom
Woods -- really, does it get lower than that? -- to today running what can only be described as an empire.
The things that Connor Boyack, creator of the Tuttle Twins children's book series, has done and is doing are downright astounding.
When Connor made a presentation several months ago to the people in my Woods Author Academy program, he noted that he's learned to do so
much of what he's done while in the process of doing it.
In other words, no school taught it to him. He realized that in order to reach his goals he would need to learn X and Y, so he learned X and Y.
That's been true in my case, too. I do use some of what I learned in school, but in order to do all the different things I do today I had to be willing to learn on my
own.
As you surely know, it's possible to become quite accomplished at something despite having no formal training. Chris Squire (a favorite example of mine) had no formal training on the bass, and he wound up being one of the greatest and most original players of all time.
Well, there's one particular skill I learned that has made everything possible for me.
You, too, will need this skill, because if you do escape the 9-to-5 grind, the last thing you want is to have to go crawling back.
Poor Homer Simpson, who had escaped his own 9 to 5, had to crawl (literally crawl) through into his old boss's office through a slot labeled "SUPPLICANTS" when he had no choice but to return.
Mr. Burns then hung what he called the "demotivational plaque" on a wall where Homer worked. It read, "REMEMBER, YOU'RE HERE FOREVER."
Not you, dear reader. Not you.
Because I'm going to teach you the skill.
And when it's ready, you'll be the only people on earth getting 20% off if you get on the notification
list at the link below (where the skill itself is revealed):
