My children have grown up in a world far different
from the one I grew up in when it comes to commerce.
They take for granted that if we as a family need something, it can be at our door semi-instantaneously.
I am at pains to emphasize to them that there is nothing automatic about this, that a massive infrastructure had to be built, involving the efforts of a huge number of people, in order to make such a thing a
reality.
So if a piece of my podcasting equipment breaks down, I can have a replacement in my possession sometimes by the next day. I don't have to put the Tom Woods Show on hiatus for two weeks.
This is an astonishing thing, but given the many wonders around us, we seldom stop to appreciate the massive effort that went into making it a reality.
Now:
There are at this moment 157 million Amazon Prime members in the U.S. That’s about half the population of the entire United States.
An even more relevant statistic: of people who are 18 and older who live in the U.S., three out of four are Amazon Prime members.
In study after study, the most lucrative
customer segment on the Internet is the Amazon Prime member. Chances are, you yourself are a Prime member.
Prime members can purchase with one click and get two-day free shipping. (By the way, that will soon be replaced by two-hour free shipping in the biggest cities around the world.)
There are a lot of ways you can get started selling on Amazon and reaching the web's most lucrative customer base, but if you’re interested in just picking one, the one
I've been describing to you makes the most sense in my opinion.
If you missed the demonstration of how it works, there's a time-sensitive replay at the link below.
This is an especially nice kind of business because someone else has already built the infrastructure for you, and is already working constantly to bring you a huge quantity of web traffic.
Would-be entrepreneurs would have killed for such a thing 30 years ago.
No killing is necessary today.
