I don't care about such coarse things as money; I
care about the "higher things."
We've all heard some snob utter some version of that.
The idea is that you peons are too absorbed with material things, unlike this morally superior Platonic philosopher sitting on his mountaintop in abstract contemplation.
But you know what?
The more resources you have, the more easily you can take care of your physical needs, and therefore the more time you will have to appreciate the higher things.
I rather doubt a twelfth-century peasant spent much time at the local book club or birdwatching society.
And the faster you can care for those needs, the more additional time you'll have for whatever it is you enjoy.
We live in a world in which I can have an operational digital business generating dough for me in about half an hour.
I am interested in this not because I am obsessed with material things (even though, I admit, I am rather partial to staying alive, and I do need material things for that). I am interested in it because I'd like to have a life in which I never have to worry about material
things.
Our replay demonstrating how to do this comes down at midnight. Enjoy:
