The gods of marketing say: promote no more than
one thing at a time. Have no more than one link in an email.
Well, I am an occasional blasphemer against these particular gods.
Sometimes a rule is meant to be broken.
Like the rule that says you shouldn't end a sentence with a preposition. It's probably best to follow that rule in general. But not if the result
is a literary atrocity. There really should be some kind of punishment for "To what are you referring?" or "This is something about which I care deeply" or "To which restaurant are we going?"
Now, on to my blasphemy.
First: on my other list this week I've been mentioning my Woods Author Academy, which has been on sale this week, The problem is, the sale prices weren't
properly entered into the system, so nobody could get the discount.
So in case anyone from that other list didn't open today's email, but happens to see this one, I wanted to let you know: my stupidity has come to an end, and you can get the discount now (but the sale still ends at midnight):

Second:
I have had a friendly argument with The Great John Drawdy, a member of my Elite Mastermind, about the value of business books. I claim almost none of them are useful. They're too generic to be helpful. John disagrees. He is valiant in his wrongness, but wrong he nevertheless is.
I'm thinking about my own case. I turned major corners not because I learned something from a book, but because someone who knew my specific situation told me: DO THIS EXACT THING. No book could possibly have taught me that, because no book could be written that specifically for me.
On at least four pivotal occasions, I had smart people who knew my particular circumstances tell me: DO THIS
EXACT THING. And those have been some of the most successful and lucrative things I have ever done.
Anyone who tells me he doesn't really need advice like that is either a god or a liar.
This is precisely the benefit of my mastermind programs: you're surrounded by people who are smarter than you, who know exactly what you need to hear and can advise you very specifically in
your present situation.
That's why we've had members tell us their businesses have grown by as much as two or three times just from implementing what they learned from their mastermind peers.
I have the Junior Mastermind, which is virtual only. That one is here:
https://www.TheJrMastermind.com
I also have the Elite Mastermind. That one meets in person, in three fun places per year.
In the coming year one of those three fun places will be St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, where we'll put our heads together to multiply each other's successes while enjoying a few days in paradise -- plus
we'll be joined a very special guest who will perform close-up magic just for our small group (the Elite Mastermind is capped at 10 to make sure everyone gets individual attention).
Yes, it's as cool as it sounds. I just posted a brand new behind-the-scenes video to give you a flavor of it:

The Elite Mastermind lives up to its name: it's the most elite experience I offer. If it's for you, you already know.
A few of our members just flew on one member's private plane to visit another member in Panama for a retreat, where they are as we speak.
Wherever we meet, that's a room you want to get yourself into.
Check it out, and if you want in, let's get on a call:
