I'm 52, and on some level that flat-out
sucks.
Turning 30 was a bit disorienting.
When I turned 40 I was downright angry. What was happening? Where was the time going?
By 50, the anger had turned to resignation, albeit of a bitter sort.
I remember speaking to Tom Woods Show guest Larry Lepard
off the air, before we started recording. I told him I had just turned 50 and that I was distinctly unhappy about it.
(You remember Larry, by the way: he's the guy who ran full-page ads for Ron Paul in major newspapers in 2008.)
Larry, who's a few years older than I am, told me: Tom, your fifties are going to be great. Just read the book Younger Next Year, and you'll
be set.
I did that.
And every week that I'm not traveling, I'm in the gym with a trainer five days a week.
I legitimately feel more robust than ever.
And here's the fun part. I have a series of ambitious goals for 2025, and I'm telling you right now: I'm
going to reach every one of them. Even the ones people might assume I'm too old to accomplish.
But who cares about me.
What about you?
If everything is just the way you want it, you should absolutely ignore me.
But if you wish you were
- earning a few more bucks, or
- spending better time with the kids, or
- able to devote more time to a precious hobby, or
- escaping a job that's sucking the life out of you, or
- speaking another language, or
- finally cleaning up your house, or
- winning that promotion you deserve, or
- running your own business, or
- whatever it is, then:
why not give my
system a try?
I've made it so you have nothing to lose: do the whole thing by January 31 (not a difficult task, I assure you) and upon request I'll even return every cent you paid for the program. That's how much I want you to give it a spin.
It works for me, it's worked for others, and it can work for you.
That bad
voice that prefers inertia over ambition is saying to you: don't click that link. And I promise you: the average person won't click it.
You are better than the average person, dear reader, and since you and I are in a war against mediocrity, take a machine gun to that voice and defiantly click instead (but the price goes way up in a few short days):
