But I was in the middle of writing that when I got the news: Donald Trump has given a full and unconditional pardon to Ross Ulbricht.

The wonderful and brave and tireless Lyn Ulbricht has her son back.

Trump just released this statement:

"I just called the mother of Ross William Ulbright [sic] to let her know that in honor of her and the Libertarian Movement, which supported me so strongly, it was my pleasure to have just signed a full and unconditional pardon of her son, Ross. The scum that worked to convict him were some of the same lunatics who were involved in the modern day weaponization of government against me. He was given two life sentences, plus 40 years. Ridiculous!"

The whole world is texting Lyn Ulbricht right now, so I sent merely an unobtrusive email.

At my 2000th episode in Orlando in 2021, Lyn stood before the 2500 spectators and told them she needed a miracle.

"You got the miracle you asked for," I wrote, after telling her I'd been doing nothing but refreshing my Twitter/X feed for two days.
