I'm in Seattle for a meeting of my Elite
Mastermind (we meet in a different city each time), and last night I was reminded of the limits of my culinary knowledge.
We had a pre-set menu for our group, so we were all looking at the menu in anticipation of what was to come out next.
The initial dishes were vegetarian -- salads, vegetables, etc. -- but then we saw: "farms roasted hen of the woods."
So I thought: I'm working up an appetite for that hen!
Well, out came the dish, and much as I fished around the mushrooms, no hen.
Guess what:
"Hen of the woods" is a mushroom.
So there wasn't really a missing
hen at all. There was no hen in the first place.
We later got some delicious chicken and beef filet, but the psychological damage had been done, my friends.
However, I'll be having a great time over the next couple of days with these great and smart and successful guys, as we put everyone on a hot seat and give them advice and strategies and connections.
Meanwhile, we will as usual be having all kinds of enjoyable experiences in terms of excursions and food.
Everyone arrives early because of the camaraderie and how much we enjoy spending time together.
Do you enjoy elite experiences, and could you use peers like these?
Check
it out, and for heaven's sake let's talk:
