There are lots of responses to the old commonplace that "money isn't everything," but I'm somewhat fond of Jay-Z's:
"I can't help the poor if I'm one of them. So I got rich and gave back. To me that's the win/win."
(By contrast, I cannot bring myself to repeat the
inane thing Cornel West said to Eric Adams the other day about why redistribution is a religious imperative.)
It's true, though, that of course it isn't everything.
If you were estranged from your kids, no sum of money could take that pain away. No sum of money can buy a reliable friend. Everyone understands that.
But I get that although everyone would obviously like to "make money online" (there'd be no reason not to want that, after all), the very phrase makes some people's skin crawl.
So I've decided to host a follow-up presentation to the one I did yesterday, except this time I'll talk about not just making money, but also about how to use these strategies and tools to advance whatever mission or message you have while also generating
an income for yourself.
Now not everyone has to have a mission or a message per se. So the hopeful idealist and the grim nihilist can both profit from what I have to teach.
Our ancestors would have killed for what's sitting right here at our fingertips, yet almost nobody knows what to do with it.
The old man here
sure does.
Costs you nothing, and if you were at the last one, you know how much information I pack into these.
