For the most part, I genuinely loved my students.

They may have come into my classes knowing nothing, but that was better than entering my classes with their heads full of nonsense that I had to refute.

In those days I wrote many reference letters for students. One such student was applying for a transfer to another college. I wrote the letter, he was accepted, and I figured that was the end of it.
