I'm not saying you have to admire the guy, or that
what he did was right.
I'm saying that I am nevertheless impressed by what he pulled off.
I am speaking of Stan Berman, the man who attended over two thousand weddings and celebrity events without being invited to any of them.
He posed as a waiter in 1957 to get an autograph from Queen Elizabeth II. He sat next to
JFK's father, Joseph Kennedy, at the 1961 inaugural ball. At the New Jersey mayoral inauguration there was Berman, seated beside the outgoing governor. And so on.
Berman, a cab driver, created enough buzz around himself that when he passed away in 1968 the New York Times published an obituary: "Renowned Uninvited Guest at 2000 Functions Dies."
Again, I am not
suggesting that you become a gatecrasher.
But what we can take from Stan Berman is his refusal to take no for an answer, not to mention grabbing life by the horns and bending it to his will.
As I've noted before, I'm not especially thrilled about being in my 50s, and it's made me more and more conscious of my mortality. And so I legitimately have thoughts like: how many more
Januaries do I have?
How many do any of us have?
Shockingly few.
So here is my question for you:
Why is it preferable simply to drift into another year, as opposed to being systematic and purposeful in order to achieve great things? Why is it preferable to let life happen to us instead of, in Stan Berman style, bending it to our will?
I'm not talking about New Year's resolutions, which generally don't
work.
I'm talking about what I myself have been doing at the beginning of every year, a system I've developed that has made every year for me better than the previous one.
The vast majority of mankind is drifting into 2026 the same way they drifted into 2025 before that and 2024 before that.
You and I are different from the vast majority of mankind, dear reader. Recall
that the vast majority of mankind thought it made scientific sense to wear a mask when entering a restaurant and then take if off when seated.
I'm so convinced that my program will make 2026 your best year yet that if you complete the exercises by the end of the month (not hard to do, and you really should complete them by the end of the month so you can implement them the rest of the year -- that's kind of the point), you can ask for
your money back and I'll return every cent you paid for it.
I can't offer a better guarantee than that.
When the clock hits zero the doors close and not even Stan Berman would be allowed in, so click and grab:
