Remember the old Contra Krugman podcast I hosted
with Bob Murphy from 2015 to 2020?
We'd take a Paul Krugman column and teach economics by explaining his errors.
Out of that developed the Contra Cruise, where listeners joined us for a week of nonstop hilarity. We had an optional group excursion, and one year it was Bob's team versus my team in laser tag (my team won, but you surely knew that).
With Bob's blessing I
resurrected the cruise idea last year with the Tom Woods Cruise, and I couldn't have been happier with how it went. Passengers will tell you: this thing was much better than I expected, and I expected a lot.
Well, after the 2026 cruise, taking place in August, I've decided to call it quits for a while. If I do another cruise, it will be years from now.
We've got a
newborn baby and all kinds of plans, and it would be one less thing on our plates.
So if you've been meaning to join me, I'm afraid this is no longer one of those things you can do "someday." Someday has to be now.
Don't worry: if your wife hates the idea, we have a special group for the wives who aren't interested in our official activities, and if they choose they can have
a blast on their own.
Doc Dixon is a world-class magician who happens to be hilarious (and he's part of our world: he made jokes about Michael Malice and Eric July when he sawed me in half at my 2000th Tom Woods Show episode event), and he's performing an exclusive show just for us.
Scott Horton and Clint Russell will be there and you'll have access to them all week.
And of course, a certain tiny Henry Woods will be there.
This being my business list, I'll add that we're doing (optional) mini-masterminds on board, too, so if you're a business owner and could use from fresh input and ideas, you'll get more of those than you know what to do with.
But I'm telling you, you do not want to
pass this by.
At the end, you'll wonder how you ever considered not going.
I had a very well-traveled guy tell me after last year's: "This was one of the best weeks of my life."
But it's going away for a long time, if not forever.
